Over the course of a year, our expert consultants led the successful upgrade of SAP SCM systems, enhancing planning, scheduling, and allocation processes. This project exemplifies our dedication to delivering tailored SAP solutions that drive operational excellence.
Project Overview
From June 2016 to June 2017, The Trusted Games Consultancy collaborated with Britvic PLC, through HCL AXON, to lead a significant upgrade project for their SAP SCM systems. This project, conducted in Hemel Hempstead and Rugby, UK, focused on transitioning from SCM 5 to SCM 7.02, addressing functional and technical defects, and optimizing planning processes.

Project Objectives
- Upgrade Project: Led the upgrade from SAP SCM 5 to SCM 7.02, addressing numerous functional and technical defects to ensure system stability and performance.
- Custom PPDS Heuristics: Designed and implemented custom Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PPDS) heuristics to meet specific client requirements. The solution involved planning and scheduling based on a higher level of product hierarchy and maintaining planning wheels.
- GATP Solutions: Developed a Best of Pick (BOP) solution for SAP Global Available-to-Promise (GATP), redefining sorting logic to improve order fulfillment accuracy. Additionally, created a product allocation solution to optimize resource distribution.
- Offshore Team Management: Managed a team of offshore consultants from HCL AXON, ensuring effective collaboration and timely project delivery.

- Successful Upgrade: Completed the SCM 5 to SCM 7.02 upgrade, enhancing system capabilities and performance.
- Optimized Planning: Implemented custom PPDS heuristics that improved planning efficiency and scheduling accuracy based on product hierarchy.
- Enhanced Order Fulfillment: Developed and integrated a BOP solution for GATP, which refined sorting logic and improved product availability.
- Efficient Resource Allocation: Created a product allocation solution using GATP, optimizing inventory management and resource distribution.
